What TT Leadership is

TT Youth Leadership is a structured seven-week online program for young people ages 12–18 across Trinidad & Tobago, exploring practical lessons that connect leadership to everyday life.
Each 90-minute session combines clear teaching, relatable examples, activities, guided discussion and one practical action. Participants learn alongside other local young people, hear different perspectives and encourage one another to step forward.
How the lessons work
Mishal teaches the week's topic using clear ideas and relatable examples, then guides activities and discussion so everyone can take part.

Across six connected lessons, participants explore what leadership is, perspective, personal responsibility, thoughts and habits, learning from failure and maintaining momentum. Week 7 completes the program with graduation.

Graduation
Celebrate the leader you are becoming.
In the final session, participants reflect on what they learned, recognise their progress and decide how they will continue their leadership journey. Participants who complete all seven weeks of the program receive a graduation certificate.

Mishal Rahaman-Ali created TT Youth Leadership to give young people a practical, relatable way to build leadership skills before adulthood.
As a young author, award recipient and youth podcast host, she brings her own experience to the program. She teaches every weekly session and guides the activities, discussions and action steps.
